Alicia Keys may be best recognized as an award-winning musician, but she also dedicates her time to another worthy cause: Ending HIV and AIDS. Keep A Child Alive was co-founded by Alicia Keys in 2003. The organisation is committed to empowering children and young people whilst providing the necessary resources, confidence, and opportunities to reach their full potential and live happier, healthier lives.
Keep A Child Alive currently provides financial and programmatic support to 9 community organisations in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and India, serving over 150,000 people each year.

Keep A Child Alive provides comprehensive HIV/AIDS treatment, care and support for children, young people and families affected by the global epidemic.

Keep A Child Alive equips women and young people with the knowledge, skills and opportunities to transform their communities and their futures.
Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
The organisation strives to help stop sexual abuse from happening in the first place, it supports those who have experienced it, and helps to convict those who perpetrate it.
